Hand crafted in in the Shizuku-ishi Watch Studio in Morioka in the north of Japan, it has had a modern, classical revamp without loosing any of its original character.

The David Emanuel collection for Clogau encompasses everyday romance & glamour. Each piece contains a piece of Welsh rose gold and is inspired by Welsh culture and British heritage.
The collection has 10 beautiful pieces, all set with genuine Swarovski topaz.
David Emanuel seems like a perfect collaborator for Clogau, as he has been designing clothes for members of the British and European Royal families for over 3 decades. Most famously he designed and created Diana, Princess of Wales wedding gown – to the Prince of Wales in 1981. On the collaboration David Emanuel commented: “I’m thrilled to work in association with a brand that holds values so closely aligned to my own. Clogau’s mix of rare Welsh gold, esteemed royal association and Cariad® Am Byth® (Forever Love) message are at the core of the David Emanuel for Clogau collections”.

Tuesday’s sale breaks the record previously held by the Oppenheimer Blue diamond, which sold for $57.5m at Christie’s in Geneva in May last year.
Prior to the sale David Bennet, Sotheby’s worldwide chairman for international jewellery, who presided over the auction, said: “The extraordinary size of this 59.60-carat diamond, paired with its richness of colour, surpasses any known pink diamond recorded in history.”
